Every summer Car Shows make their entrance into our communities. Cars from all different eras and styles come together in a bright and fun-filled day.

What do Car Shows and Severe Weather Shelter Network have to do with one another?

Not a lot you might think. Faith Community Church Men’s Breakfast group has been hosting an annual car show called Faith on Wheels for the last 10 years or so. For the last 3 years the men have given a portion of their proceeds to support the work of Severe Weather Shelter Network. This has been a fun way for us to tell others about the ministry and help them understand more about homelessness our community.

Now we have another Car Show that will be inviting gifts and support for Severe Weather Shelter Network.

Reel Factory is hosting a Car Meet on Sunday, August 5th from 4-7pm. Admission to the Car Meet is free. This is a great family activity to come and see some really fun cars. And at the same time you can share Severe Weather Shelter Network with your friends. We will have a booth at the event to share information about volunteering and the bigger shelter picture around homelessness in our community.

Please feel free to share this information with friends! We will look forward to seeing you there!
