Today is All Hallows Eve. Many of us will take kids out trick or treating and enjoy the community camaraderie of the day.
Historically, All Hallows Eve has been a time of remembrance. A time when bonfires were lit to ward off ghosts and evil spirits.
Tomorrow, November 1st is All Saints Day. A Day to celebrate and remember those who have gone before us. A time to elevate all that is good in the world. A time to remember that all of us are in this life together and are invited to help one another along the way.
November 1st is also the first day of early giving through the Colorado Gives 2022 campaign.
What a great way to begin the season of celebrating the Light by making your early gift to Severe Weather Shelter Network!
Over the month of November we want to raise the first $20,000 of our $75,000 goal for this year. There are a number of ways you can help.
- Give your gift today at SWSN Colorado Gives Day 2022
- Share this post with 5 of your friends and ask them to join you in giving
- Share the names of those 5 friends with SWSN so we can let you know when they have given.
Thank you for partnering with us this season to make sure our guests live to see another year and have the opportunity to build a new and sustainable life!
