There is so much for us to be thankful for as one year closes and another one begins. Our shelter season straddles this transition each year and gives us a great opportunity to provide you with shelter updates.
For those of you who are “by the numbers”:
- 917 guests have been registered as of today
- 22 Shelter nights are in the books
- 1138 guest nights counted
Total cost for shelter nights so far this season: $44,000, or $2,000 per night.
We are so grateful for the generosity of each person who has given through Colorado Gives 2022 and the remainder of the month of December.
At the end of November we were $80,000 behind budget. As of today the gap is closing and is now just $30,000 behind the budget for 2022. Thank you!
Many people have given in other ways. A HUGE thank you to those of you who have given the in-kind gifts we needed for shelter! Coffee, creamer, sugar, socks, hats, gloves, etc. Our storehouses are full at the moment. We are blessed because of you. Thank you!

This ministry does not succeed without the generosity of all of our volunteers, partners and donors. Thank you for continuing to partner with us in this transitional season. Thank you for continuing to pray for us and with us as we navigate the post COVID terrain like so many other organizations and agencies are doing.
$30,000 is a lot of money, and yet, it is not when you consider just 25 people giving $1,200 can close the gap entirely!
