Frederick came to the Severe Weather Shelter Network as we prayed for direction as to how God would have us tell the story of our guests, our organization, and the work we do together.
He was born 4 years ago, as his puppeteer dreamed him up, and was then placed in a box awaiting his purpose. When we approached Karen Primus asking if she would be willing to consider helping us develop a film utilizing her gift of puppetry, she immediately thought of Frederick. He had been waiting patiently for 4 years, in a box, for his calling.
Frederick has since been officially adopted as the ambassador for Severe Weather Shelter Network and will make his debut at our upcoming Refuge from the Cold fundraising event on Saturday, November 4, 2017.
